Sri Aurobindo: A New Dawn – An Animation Film in the Making

An animation film ‘Sri Aurobindo: A New Dawn’ is being made by Sri Aurobindo Society to inspire the youth of India and the world, through the story of Sri Aurobindo and his immense contribution to the renaissance of India. This is our offering for the 150th anniversary of Sri Aurobindo’s birth.

We are nearing the end of the storyboarding stage, ready to move on to the next stage of Character design and Scenarios of the film.

Sri Aurobindo wrote ‘Hymn to Durga’ in Bengali in 1909 when he was in Kolkata. These beautiful hymns were later translated into English by Nolini Kanta Gupta and then further revised by Sri Aurobindo.

On this Navratri, we pay our homage to Mother India through the series of posts celebrating the hymn. Click to read the hymn on our website

A Divine Life in a Divine Body

The author, Navajata ji, dedicated his life to realizing the vision Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. He travelled extensively giving innumerable discourses on the Sadhana of Integral Yoga. It was one grand theme: how can we make our life more perfect; what is the highest an individual can do; how can the whole world be happy; how can yoga be practiced in the midst of this world while working, talking, eating or even sleeping – at each moment of one’s life; can death be conquered; can destiny be changed; how can one attain a divine life in a divine body?

This book could be a direct guide to Integral Yoga and how to practice it in everyday life.
