Never get into your head that your faith alone is true and every other is false. Know for certain that God without form is real and that God with form is also real. Then hold fast to whichever faith appeals to you.

Rise of the Better Half in Business
Women are invading the corporate space at all levels. In fact, in spite of lingering challenges, and persistent cultural prejudices in favour of placing men at the leadership levels, women are taking every opportunity to demonstrate the difference and value-add they bring to the business bottom line with their inherent skills and nature. Being a woman is no longer a disadvantage at progressive workplaces, which take special measures to make women feel ‘at home’.

Inspiration
At the head she stands of birth and toil and fate,
In their slow round the cycles turn to her call;
Alone her hands can change Time’s dragon base.
Hers is the mystery the Night conceals;
The spirit’s alchemist energy is hers;
She is the golden bridge, the wonderful fire.

The Mother – A Short Biography
The Mother was born in Paris in 1878. Even during her childhood, she was preoccupied with the inner search and was led to extraordinary spiritual experiences which deepened, in her late youth, into a realization of constant union with the Divine. In 1914, she met Sri Aurobindo in Pondicherry and established a divine collaboration with him.

“I looked at the bars of my cell, the very grating that did duty for a door and again I saw Vasudeva. It was Narayana who was guarding and standing sentry over me. Or I lay on the coarse blankets that were given me for a couch and felt the arms of Sri Krishna around me, the arms of my Friend and Lover. This was the first use of the deeper vision He gave me.” – Sri Aurobindo
Read MoreFor the benefit of the readers, Sushrut Badhe has rendered a poem, in first person, of the experience of Sri Aurobindo in jail:
Alipore Jail: When God Awoke
Dearest, a prisoner I was in a lone cell,
Alone, my pain I couldn’t share or tell.
With a deathly noose hanging atop –
My life’s aspiration, fate tried to stop!
Hunger and thirst began blaring signs of defeat,
I lay confined in a cage – six by nine feet.
A year passed, I wondered is this the end? –
Of the leader, the symbol, the legend?
A barrage of thoughts left me mad –
“Why God?” was the burning question sad.
But all the inner turmoil and noise
Faded as I summoned an inner poise.
And dearest, You taught me lessons three
That ultimately only set me free!
The first at the borders of insanity –
I found the vista of the inner clarity.
Next, beyond the limits of the mind,
A higher tranquility I could verily find.
And finally; how personal effort was a blunder
Without a complete and Divine surrender.
Now, suddenly in the dingy cage all was fine
I began to experience a Life divine!
For everywhere, I only saw your face’s reflection
How your majesty’s beauty was beyond human comprehension.
As a child in the universal mother’s bosom
A new spiritual realization began to blossom,
The walls now began to crumble and fall –
I could now clearly see the One veiled in all!
Dearest “Krishna, Vasudeva, Narayana” – how should I call?
Visible you became even in the Bars and the wall.
Dearest I found you, as you simply surrounded me,
And saw how no cage could now bind me.
Walking under the branches I came to know,
How you were cocooning me in your shadow!
The rods and grating of the prison cell –
Were also You, I could smile and tell.
I saw how; you were standing sentry –
Guarding dutifully the cage’s entry.
The course blankets too as your arms became,
For in them, I could feel the beloved’s touch and name.
In the other inmates, swindlers and murderers too
In all the misused bodies too, I only saw you.
As I used the vision, that you gave me
Why I was imprisoned, I could clearly see.
Celebrating your gift of the divine sight –
I tasted your ambrosia of ecstatic delight.
The realms beyond the mind were now clear –
New horizons have now begun to appear.
“It was the hour before the gods awake”
Dearest, my supramental plunge I shall now make!
Dose of Sunshine

Potion of Laughter
A woman goes to the local psychic in hopes of contacting her dearly departed grandmother. The psychic’s eyelids begin fluttering, her voice begins warbling, her hands float up above the table, and she begins moaning. Eventually, a coherent voice emanates, saying, “Granddaughter? Are you there?”
Read MoreThe customer, wide-eyed and on the edge of her seat, responds, “Grandmother? Is that you?”
“Yes granddaughter, it’s me.”
“It’s really, really you, grandmother?”, the woman repeats.
“Yes, it’s really me, granddaughter.”
The woman looks puzzled, “You’re sure it’s you, grandmother?”
“Yes, granddaughter, I’m sure it’s me.”
The woman pauses a moment, “Grandmother, I have just one question for you.”
“Anything, my child.”
“Grandmother, when did you learn to speak English?”

A guy sees a sign in front of a house: “Talking Dog for Sale.” He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard.
The guy goes into the backyard and sees a black mutt just sitting there.
“You talk?” he asks.
“Yep,” the mutt replies.
“So, what’s your story?”
The mutt looks up and says, “Well, I discovered my gift of talking pretty young and I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies eight years running.
The jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn’t getting any younger and I wanted to settle down. So I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security work, mostly wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings there and was awarded a batch of medals. Had a wife, a mess of puppies, and now I’m just retired.”
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
The owner says, “Ten dollars.”
The guy says, “This dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him, so cheap?”
The owner replies, “He’s just a big liar. He didn’t do any of that stuff.”
