December 5, 1950. Sri Aurobindo renounced His physical body in order to hasten the ‘hour of collective transformation’ which is the supreme aim of His Yoga and mortal birth. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of His Mahasamadhi, we bow down in muted gratitude, and, with silent humility and renewed aspiration offer ourselves to His work of evolution. Dharamnagar, Tripura branch observes Siddhi Day

The Tripura Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, organized a discussion at the Dharamnagar Girls Higher Secondary School on November 24, 2020 on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Siddhi Day when Sri Aurobindo brought down the Overmind Consciousness, through His Yogic process. The speakers deliberated on the life of Sri Aurobindo. The day ended with a colourful cultural program organized by the centre.

Integral Perspectives of Mental Health

While physical health is mostly tangible, our mind and its world eludes us completely. Not anymore, perhaps. To understand the consciousness-based approach to mental health, do attend this online workshop where renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Soumitra Basu, will share the integral perspective of Psychiatry and examine the five contemporary aspects and themes of mental health. It is a 5-day workshop commencing on December 7, 2020. The foundation of the ideas of Integral Psychology is in consonance with the wisdom of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, and are bound to interest counsellors, psychiatrists, and students of Sri Aurobindo.

Better English for Children

Sans pomp and splendor, the fourth batch of the English Access Micro Scholarship Program was launched on November 7 with only the enthusiasm and the aspiration of the students and the coordinators. Aspirants undertook the pre-diagnostic tests to understand their levels in a quiet dignified session. The classes have begun and is picking up pace and energy.
